¡OKTOBERFEST 2026!

My friend Omer is sadly soon to be closing his wonderful barbershop after over 40 years of service to the community of North London. I felt it would be a good thing to immortalise both his shop and our friendship. Bjorn liked the idea and sent over a guy (Billy) with an iPhone. After two hours we were done and my drea

Yttling Jazz & Bobby Gillespie today release collaborative single ”Strange”, from ”Illegal Hit (Out Of Bounds)”, a deluxe album releasing this Friday, the 27th of March. Björn Yttling and Bobby Gillespie are no strangers, having worked together several times in the past on Primal Scream tracks. Now Bobby returns the favour on ”Strange” as the duo trade surreal lyrics and serpentine vibraphone phrases. ”Distant Star” by Yttling Jazz & Yukimi is out. Lace up your dancing shoes and enjoy the ride! “I’ve loved Björn’s production for years and am also a fan of Peter Bjorn And John. He reached out to me at a time in my life when I felt open to sing a jazz track. This one has the fire and newness still paying tribute to classic sound. In my opinion jazz music should be danced to and that’s what this song makes me want to do.” — Yukimi “This song came out of a track we recorded for the Illegal Hit al
