Editorial policy

Facts and sources

Artist stories and recording context carry factual sources and dates. Listening selections are editorial choices, not measured popularity rankings. Artist images and recordings are not republished without documented rights.

Editorial judgment

Curation and recommendations are distinct from measured facts. We do not describe an artist as emerging from a low follower count alone, and we do not manufacture quotes, events, collaborations, financial inputs, or source URLs.

AI assistance

Automation may help draft bounded summaries from accepted inputs. A separate AI reviewer evaluates claims against source evidence. Deterministic identity, URL, provenance and media eligibility checks also apply. Unsupported or uncertain content is withheld. Only a completed review receives an AI-reviewed label; local drafts are labeled pending. Routine publication does not require human review.

Commercial separation

Editorial ranking is not payment for placement. Voting never promises an offering or artist participation. Any commercial relationship or external destination must be labeled and verified separately.

Corrections

Credible reports enter a durable review queue with an audit record. Material errors should be corrected transparently; disputed or unsafe content can be quarantined while reviewed. Final severity targets and public response commitments require editorial and legal approval.
